Able2Extract offers you 4 different ways to select the data you would like to convert. Two basic ways to select within a document are the "Select All" and "Select Area" options.
1. "Select All" command allows you to select entire document for the conversion.
To activate this command, click on the "All" icon on the toolbar, or choose the "Select All Pages" option from the Edit menu.
2. "Select Area" command allows you to select only certain portion of the data from just one page (e.g. one paragraph, one column etc.)
To activate this command, click on the "Area" icon on the toolbar, or choose the "Select Area" option from the Edit menu. Then use your mouse to select the desired data: left-click the mouse button beginning at the position from which you want to select the data; then drag the mouse pointer (while still holding the left mouse button pressed) over the portion of data that you want to select. Once you have made the desired selection, release the left mouse button.
Under the Edit menu there are also two other selection options:
3. "Select All on Page" command allows you to select all the data on just one page – the page you are currently on.
4. "Select Page Range..." command allows you to select a range of pages for the conversion, by entering the number of the pages in a Page Range dialog (e.g. "10-20" or "4, 7-10, 14-19").
